I think Proudhon was one of the few real anarchists. He was one of the few people who really understood the internal order of our society, this system of monetary slavery. Socialism is an utopia and capitalism is even worse.
Proudhons system is actually the only one which could work, even on a greater scale (mutal aid and stuff like that only fully works with small autonomous comunity's)
Silvio Gesell btw transformed Proudhons economical theory's - without knowing it - into a fully working system called "Freiwirtschaft" (German for free economy).
